Born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic in 1975, Tania Marmolejo Andersson is a multidisciplinary artist shaped by her Scandinavian and Caribbean heritage. Beginning her career in illustration and animation for clients including MTV, PBS, Disney, and Scholastic, she later transitioned fully into fine art and design. Her work has been exhibited internationally, represented at major art fairs, and selected for Ibero-American Design Biennials in Madrid. Marmolejo’s creative practice also spans textiles, tiles, and cultural campaigns, including national projects in the Dominican Republic, reflecting a vision that seamlessly bridges art, design, and cultural identity.
