On view during May 2026 at Arcadia Contemporary in New York City was artist Stephen Fox's solo exhibition, "Night Moves."

Stephen Fox explores the American night as a space where familiar places take on a heightened, almost symbolic presence. Drive-in theaters and solitary roadside structures appear suspended between the physical world and something more interior.

Central to the exhibition, the drive-in becomes a site of overlapping realities, a glowing screen casting fragments of shared imagery into the surrounding darkness. Rather than referencing specific films, these images echo through cultural memory and subtly transform the landscape around them.
