Ishida is a Japanese artist and illustrator based in Michigan whose evocative mixed-media works explore themes of transience, memory, and cultural identity. Drawing inspiration from nature, fashion, and the nostalgic imagery of Japan, she creates narrative-rich compositions that feel both intimate and dreamlike. A graduate of the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Illustration, Ishida works across acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, ink, gouache, and pastel, layering materials to build atmosphere and emotion.
