Opening on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at Harman Projects in San Francisco, California is the acclaimed annual group exhibition, "16 x 20," a dynamic group exhibition bringing together a wide-ranging roster of contemporary artists, each working within a 16 x 20 inch format.

Across the exhibition, artists take the format in different directions; some leaning into intricate, tightly composed scenes, others embracing bold, graphic gestures or more open, atmospheric approaches. The result feels cohesive in scale, but wildly varied in expression. While working within the same set of parameters, there’s endless room for interpretation, highlighting the idea that a shared starting point can lead to the most surprising results.
