Opening at Maxwell Alexander Gallery in Pasadena, California is renown artist John Moyers' must see solo exhibition, "Ribbons of Light." The exhibition will be on view via appointment beginning April 4th with public viewing beginning April 18th, 2026.
Moyers, raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the son of Cowboy Artists of America painter William Moyers and developed his artistic path surrounded by art. After studying in California, a pivotal 1979 workshop in British Columbia deepened his commitment to plein air painting and shaped his approach to capturing the light and wonder of western wildlife and landscape. Since then, he has built a distinguished career, earning recognition at major Western art exhibitions and serving as president of the Cowboy Artists of America. Known for painting Native American subjects, cowboys, and Southwestern landscapes, Moyers continues to work alongside his wife, Terri, drawing inspiration from the American West and beyond.
"Ribbons of Light" presents stunning examples of Moyers remarkable artistic command of light and form.
