Jeon Taehyung (Maria)

Jeon Taehyung (Maria) is a Seoul-based South Korean artist whose work blends Eastern and Western influences shaped by her years living in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Trained in both computer animation and printmaking, she combines digital and traditional sensibilities to create vibrant, layered compositions. Her ongoing Plant Series explores the interconnected relationship between humans and the natural world, merging botanical forms with the human body through a distinctive visual language of color and shape. Since 2022, her work has gained international attention through collaborations with clients including The Washington Post, Vogue Korea, Printemps, and Shinsegae.
