Haley Manchon is a Philadelphia-based artist whose surreal and distinct figurative works explore themes of isolation, memory, and self-reflection. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, she creates intricate portraits that layer faces, patterns, and repeated forms into dreamlike compositions that evoke the shifting nature of identity and thought.
Working with colored pencil, mixed media, and translucent Dura-Lar, Manchon develops delicate and often translucent surfaces where imagery appears to emerge, dissolve, and reappear. Her practice also incorporates digital manipulation, screen printing, collage, and projection, creating a contemporary visual language that bridges traditional and modern processes.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including Art Basel Miami, the Derwent Art Prize in London, and The Salmagundi Club in New York City.
