Gaëtan Henrioux

Tuesday, January 6, 2026

Born in Nîmes, France in 1984, artist Gaëtan Henrioux creates paintings that merge figuration and abstraction into a warm, twilight-twinged visual language. Working primarily in acrylics, his palette is dominated by distinct glowing hues. Influenced by Impressionist masters like Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh, Henrioux reinterprets art history through a contemporary lens, blending classical references with social media and consumer culture. His work often carries a subtle erotic tension, inviting viewers into intimate, voyeuristic scenes where concealment heightens desire.

A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués, he participated in the Salon de Montrouge in 2013.
