Cynthia Mak

Cynthia Mak is a Hong Kong–based artist whose vibrant abstract paintings are rooted in a desire to create moments of joy, optimism, and connection. Using carefully arranged geometric forms, expressive lines, and playful color relationships, she transforms simple visual elements into imaginative scenes filled with a warmth and energy that can be felt across rooms. After deeply reconnecting with her artistic practice during the pandemic, Mak developed a distinctive visual language that balances structure with spontaneity.

Mak's delightful paintings have been exhibited internationally at venues including the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Ginza Six, and Abu Dhabi Art, and she has collaborated with brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Isetan Shinjuku.
