Opening on January 8th, 2026 in Denver, Colorado is the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale.

Founded in 1993 through a partnership between the Coors Brewing Company and the National Western Stock Show, the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale has grown into one of the nation’s most respected celebrations of Western art. Curated since 1994 and guided by a dedicated advisory committee, the exhibit established its Featured Art program early on, adding one significant work each year to the National Western Permanent Collection. Under successive curators—most notably Rose Fredrick and, since 2023, Kate Hlavin—the show has continued to evolve, welcoming both new voices and returning artists while honoring its legacy.

Beyond its artistic impact, the exhibit supports the National Western Scholarship Trust, funding education for more than 120 students annually. With 2026's exhibition opening in the brand new, state of the art Legacy Building, the exhibit remains committed to excellence, community, and honoring the Indigenous lands on which it stands.

This year's exhibition features artworks by: Edward Aldrich, Maura Allen, William Alther, Bill Anton, Brandon Bailey, Carolyn Barlock, Nancy Bass, Duke Beardsley, Teal Blake, Gordon Brown, Sophy Brown, Nocona Burgess, Shawn Cameron, Jill Carver, G.
