BIO
Born in 1998 in Saint-Pierre, La Réunion, Téo Gueguin-Caillaud, known as Tehow, is a self-taught artist now based in Nantes, France. Working beyond academic traditions, he has developed a hybrid visual language that blends painting, drawing, collage, and writing. His practice moves fluidly across surfaces—wood, canvas, and paper—guided by intuition and subject matter.
Tehow’s work exists both in the studio and in public space, where his collages appear on city walls and in remote locations, creating quiet, unexpected encounters with passersby. Drawing from fragments of everyday life, nature, and memory, he constructs dreamlike yet grounded worlds that hover between narrative and introspection. His work explores identity, mental health, digital overload, and humanity’s relationship to the living world, offering each piece as a reflective threshold between the personal and the collective.
